The Ministers Council resolution No. 252 dated 07/24/1434 AH makes registering for a national address mandatory for all persons and entities.
Why Register Address in the National Address Database?
The Saudi Post developed the National Address System. It is well-known around the world. This address provides its residents and people with access to a variety of services. Home delivery, e-commerce, and postal services are examples of these services (Wasel). The purpose of the address is to make it easy for you to get different commercial services available to all Saudi residents. By entering your address, the details are fed in the Saudi National Address database.
The Saudi National Address Locator was provided by the Saudi Postal Corporation. The current global location finding, coding, and coding processes are used in this finder. Users can designate their public location on the Saudi Locator’s Guide. You may also find out what your Saudi postcode is. The site also provides a variety of alternatives for the receiver to choose from, such as highlighting company attractions and huge regions on the map.

- Open https://address.gov.sa/en official website of Saudi Arabia National Address and click on the button called “Register Your Address Today”.
- Now Select ‘Registration for Individuals for Citizens & Residents’ from the options available below.
- Now click on New Registration
You will be taken to a form where you have to add information regarding your address details.

Saudi Arabia National Address Registration with Mobile App
- Download the “LOCATOR – NATIONAL ADDRESS LOCATOR” mobile app from the app store.
- Install the Mobile app and Select your preferred languages ‘Arabic’ Or ‘English’ for adding your address to the National Address database of Saudi Arabia.
When you launch your application, it will prompt you with a few questions regarding application access.
These could contain questions like “Does this application have access to users?” and “Whether or not this app has access to your gallery and camera.” You may add your IQAMA credentials as well as your current location to both of the following services. You should provide access to the application to both services.
Once the mobile app locates your address, you can drag the cursor to your address and tag it as your residential building.
After locating your residential location, submit the details on the database so that they are stored permanently.
Authenticate Iqama ID/Government ID
Saudi Arabia National Address Registration database would ask for verifying your ID before you can submit the new address in the database. This can be done by your Iqama ID or any other government ID given to you.
A code will be sent to your mobile number that you will have to enter in the mobile app.
Once you verify the national address, you will get a code “Your national address is accepted successfully, and your registration will be activated in a period of 24 hours“.
